Day 3 in the misty city.
The next day began with a surprise for our esteemed Cardinal Sinnius Vice. He knew he would be walking the streets in new vestments made by the bride to be.
But what he did not know is that our esteemed seamstress had made tabards for all the gentlemen who had made the trip to this exotic setting. (Yes, I said eXotic!)
Tabards, should anyone be wondering, are the red cloaks we can be seen wearing. Which led to the quote of the day.
"We are not musketeers «pah». We are the men of Richelieu, sent here to guard the Cardinal!"
Being in this attire led to even more pictures being taken. By the end of this day, we had been repeatedly stopped and hundreds (no joke) of pictures had been taken of our well dressed crew. This day we were also joined by a few more of our comrades.
After wowing the tourist and locals alike with our incredible looks and attitude, we heading back to the hotel to chow down on the King Cake. If you are wondering, the King Cake is an old tradition, but in this case it was used to select a witness for the wedding.
So the cake was baked, cut, and a toy was chomped on. The witness's were found, and the wedding was that much closer. The rest of the day was spent wandering around the streets of Venice snapping images and dining on good food.
